Hi! We are Elisa and Li Ling—two friends who love making stories.

In The Making is a collection of stories that we’ve made about people who love making things. It’s a passion project which aims to shine a spot-light on the artists and makers in our community, and to unveil some of their processes, ideas, and back-stories.

This is also a personal creative project for us: a synchronised dive into our own artistic deep ends, as we explore the process of story-telling in ways which may be new to the both of us.

We hope that our images and stories will freeze-frame some of the elusive, quicksilver energy of creativity that fires the act of making.
